Shame

It truly is a shame,
How girls to the society are still a stigma and a bane.
What I want is not so hard
To be understood by a person with or without a legal card.

It is a shame,
For a few, girls are the ones who still hold the blame.
It gives me goosebumps, for solely a topic as sensitive
As this, has yet again failed to change the mindset that still remains primitive.

It is a shame,
That actions for these horrendous repetitive things are still the same.
The culprits are sent for way too many inconclusive trials
The point being, the rights of women are still in denial.

It is a shame,
Because it is not the culprits but the victims who are defamed.
The laws were never any fair
There still is a long way for just punishments to be declared.

It is a shame,
That not all have the fuming rage and the blazing flame.
It forever has been like this and may go on- the society remains suppressive
Not even thinking how this topic for some is so depressive.

It is a shame,
That men claim to have the rights to play unethical games.
It is now the time to get the inner spirit stand against and inflame,
It is now that women, voice out to disclaim.

It is a shame,
Because it is now or never to exclaim.
It is now the time to not be ashamed,
And to prove to the world that women can NEVER be tamed.

It will no longer be a shame
When women can do freely what-so-ever they may aim.
When women with due respect, will have in society a say and a name,
Then the world will know what they will become and proclaim!
